- The Church of Sweden has until today had problems with transgender people, so to give the appearance that they now care about transgender people is a step, a dishonest way to remove the board. Ohlson, a lesbian, is most noted for her exhibition Ecce homo which portrayed Jesus among homosexuals and transvestites.The scenes were modern versions of stories of the New Testament, such as Jesus riding a bicycle in a gay parade like in the Triumphal entry he rode to town with a donkey. Swedish photographer Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin questions the way these three regents are portrayed in the history books and she has made a photo installation with queer portraits of Queen Kristina, King Karl XII and King Gustav III of Sweden. The painting, entitled Paradise, is the creation of Swedish artist Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin and depicted a scene from the Garden of Eden with same-sex couples and transgender figures.
